The Lynx Radio/Power Interface manufactured between 1991 and 1995 was supplied to work with a specific make and model of radio.

Each type of interface provides both the correct physical connection and the appropriate electronic configuration for a particular radio. The radio type is marked on each interface with a yellow label. It is not possible to alter these interfaces units for use with other radios and, in particular, it is not possible to use these interface units with the latest airband radios from Icom and Yaesu.
