General Information.
Superlight aircraft is very popular around the world. Regardless new Sport Pilot rules coming soon in the US, looks like a lot of people still want to keep FAR-103 way. They don't want to fly long cross-country high-speed trips and spend 10K+ for their flying machines. They don't want to pass any FAA certification or registration process. They want to get light, affordable, easy-to-carry-assemble-handle, safe, compact, and nice-looking aircraft. They want to FLY and enjoy freedom of flying. This project is for you guys!

I start "Tiny" project in winter 2004 together with Russian aircraft designer and manufacturer Evgeny Kovalenko. He produces his well known superlight trikes and airplanes for about 10 years. His basic trike is well tested and proven. We recalculate and redesigned it a little to be able to use standard US dimension inexpensive 6061 T6 tubing and to get more attractive looking.

Air Trikes Enterprises provides Tiny FAR-103 trike adapted for North America market with following features:
1) Super low weight of trike (55-110lbs ready less the wing) allows to use affordable standard or slightly reinforced hangglider wing + inexpensive light engine used for paramotor and powered hangglider harness but to get much higher level of comfort and safety than with foot launching.
2) High level of inflight reliability and safety, low weight is achieved with using of well thought-out design, high quality materials and components (titanium leaf suspension; aviation aluminum and hardware; superlight composite wheel rims, precision bearings etc.) Regardless of its light weight, Tiny is a full-function trike even with fork suspension and front disc brake. Rear brakes are optional.
3) Tiny trike can be supplied as:
a) Kit, by ordinary parcel with all parts necessary to build a trike chassis excluded 3 main 6061 T6 tubes and plastic container for gas tank (enforcing sleeves for these tubes and outlets for gas tank are included). These components can be purchased locally everywhere in North America. They are excluded: to fit parcel service requirements so minimize shipping cost, easy modify and repair the trike if necessary just changing these tubes, easy fit your trike to your body size or measurement of your wing control frame etc. Building process is very easy (3 tube cutting, drilling, bolting) with short time. Minimal price, optimal variant for homebuilders.
b) A completed ready trike chassis disassembled for delivery. The chassis can be ordered with a delta wing (+ reinforcing set of sleeves if necessary).
c) A ready-to-fly, tested and disassembled for delivery flying machine.
4) Affordable price of your ready-to-fly aircraft consists of:
a) Affordable price (with high European quality) of the trike kit because of comparatively low labor and material cost in Russia
b) Low delivery cost (standard parcel)
c) Affordable price of delta wings comparatively with special trike wings.
d) Low cost of small 14-30hp engines which power is enough for this superlight aircraft.
5) Tiny is designed as a high quality soaring trike. Its components (streamlined wheels, thin titanium leaf) have very low aerodynamic drag. Its design is compact. These features + low weight allow getting high soaring performances (sink and gliding ratios) and outstanding safety. Landing without engine is normal for Tiny. Its effective full suspension and brake, low minimal speed allow using extremely small and rough fields for landing. It can be carried to "airport" (small grass field) on top of your car with folded wing and assembled for flight for 30 minutes even by one person. The mast is foldable for ease of transportation, storage, and wing installation.
6) Air Trike Enterprises going to keep all spare parts in stock for Tiny so our clients will get them as quickly as UPS can deliver them. Air Trikes and its dealers provide all necessary information support for our clients.
All these advantages of Tiny project allow to get a new complete high quality trike with the cost less than "good inexpensive" used one and avoid high cost modification (mean renewal) necessary in a short time after a used trike purchase.
